READ ACROSS AMERICA
In the month of March 2024, Hickory students will be celebrating Read Across America Week from March 4th - 8th. Students will be treated to guest readers during their regularly scheduled library times and the Hickory Student Council has planned a Wacky Wednesday Spirit Day on Wednesday, March 6th. A Bookmark contest is being held and the winning lower and upper grade design will be printed and distributed in the library. Lastly, all students can participate in a Reading Tracker for the month of March. Students that turn in their completed tracker will be entered into a raffle for prizes.

CONTEST RULES
1. Design your bookmark using black or colored pens or markers.
2. Only one design per student.
3. The design must be your own drawing. No computer- created designs or 3D objects can be used.
4. Two winners will be chosen. One from TK-2nd grade, and one from 3rd-5th grade.
5. The winning bookmarks will be printed and given out in the library.
6. All designs are due in the library by Friday, March 1, 2024.
7. Print your full name, teacher, and grade level ON.
