Every day at Hickory Elementary adds another page to our children’s story. A story that is filled with learning, friendship, and growth. For our Hickory PTA 2025 Direct Donation Drive, we invite you to join us in “Our Story of Giving” to support the programs and experiences that help our students thrive.
For any student that receives a donation in their name, we’ll place a new book in the Hickory Library with a special dedication honoring your student. Each donation will add a book to our Hickory PTA Library “Bookshelf of Giving”, showing the power of our community’s generosity.
Together, we’ll fill our shelves and write the next inspiring chapter in Hickory’s story!
What is Direct Donation?
Direct Donation is Hickory PTA’s primary Fall Fundraiser and this year we have a goal of raising $18,000. Our 2025 theme is “Our Story of Giving” and all students receiving a donation in their name will receive a dedication placed in one of our new library books. All donations received will support our PTA enrichment programs and community events. This amount is just a portion of what we need to sustain the school year round. Every donation received benefits Hickory, supporting our 850 students and 98 staff members!
How can you make your donation?
The easiest way to make your donation is online by tapping here or on the blue “Donate Now” button. If you prefer to donate by check, you can drop one off in the front office. Please make all checks payable to "Hickory PTA" and notate your child’s full name and classroom.
How can your donation have more of an impact?
Employers may match donations dollar for dollar! Check with your employer or HR department to see if they offer a donation matching programs. All matching should be issued to Hickory PTA. Please email fundraising@hickorypta.net for our Tax ID.
