Bike Rodeo - March 18, 2026

Get ready to ride! The Hickory PTA is hosting a Bike Rodeo to help our students test their bicycle skills and safety knowledge in a fun, friendly competition.

Event Details:

• Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026

• Time: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

• Who: 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders only

• What: Participants will navigate 6 bike-riding skill stations and complete a short bike safety knowledge quiz. Top riders will advance to compete at the District Bike Rodeo on Saturday, April 25th!

How to Participate (Important!):

• Permission Slip Required: Students must turn in a signed permission slip by Tuesday, March 17th. You can pick one up in the front office today.

• Bring Your Gear: Please remember to bring your bike and helmet to school on the day of the event to participate.

We can't wait to see our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders out on the track!

🍿 Mark your calendars, Hickory Hounds! From March 9th to 13th, we are hosting our Double Good Fundraiser to support the activities that make our school year special—including dances, festivals, "Adventures in Art," and study trips.
