Reflections contest - Now open!

Hickory PTA Reflections is an art contest that lets kids express themselves in a variety of art forms. Students can enter an original piece of literature, dance choreography, music, film, photography, or visual arts. This year's theme "I Belong" must be reflected in the art. Entries should be submitted via the online entry form. 

To find out more and pick up a copy of the rules, come to Family Reflections and Art Night on Thursday, Sept 25th at 5:30-6:30pm. You will get a chance to speak to past winners and create original artwork. The Reflections Co-Chairs Sunny Joo and Nicole Carlson will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Everyone will also get to take part in a special art project that shows how we all belong in the Hickory community.

Yearbook Cover Art Contest

Deadline to submit: extended to Sunday, April 13, 2025

The 2025 Yearbook Cover Contest is accepting drawings now. This contest is open to all Hickory students. Only one submission per student please! 

Theme: 🐾 Are you a Helpful Hound? 🐾

Submit an original drawing showing how you help others (it can be you now or in the future), just like the letter H in our H.O.U.N.D. school motto. Do NOT include any words or titles in the artwork.

Yearbook Committee
